Description
German Rodríguez Arias, the architect who designed two of Pablo Neruda’s homes, originally created the Catalan armchair as part of the furniture for Neruda’s Isla Negra house. Mobles 114 has now revived this iconic piece by Rodríguez Arias, crafting it from oak with a seat upholstered in traditional natural fiber.
The Catalan armchair stands out for its distinctly Mediterranean character and unique design, featuring six legs, a high back, and a slanted structure reinforced by the back legs. These elements give the chair a contemporary, modern appeal while preserving its timeless elegance.
