Banyoles, a key player in this industry, witnessed one of its prominent tanneries embark on an ambitious venture: producing upholstered furniture from its own leather. After an extensive search, the tannery brought together a diverse group of craftsmen from around the world, sending them to England to master the art of upholstery.
Crearte was founded over 40 years ago by the master upholsterers from that pioneering group. Specialising in traditional leather-upholstered furniture, Crearte has always placed design and quality at the heart of its creations, ensuring these principles guide every product.
