Giancarlo Vegni graduated from Art Institute in 1968. From 1968 to 1975 he worked as an internior designer for Ferretti Cucine. From 1975 he started a close partnership with several companies of diversified products in Italy and abroad, including: Effeti Cucine, Edra, Fasem International, Seven, Giovannetti, Casadesús.

Gianfranco Gualtierotti was born in Rome in 1944. He studied in Technical High School Pacinotti in Pistoia. In 1967 he starts his activity as project manager within group PERMAFLEX.  From 1970 to 1975 he heads the technical office of UNO PI, at that time company leader in the field of chemistry for interior design. He collaborates with several architects and designers, industrialising their projects. Developing a series of products which used expanded polyurethane industrially and combined with mechanical technology in the vanguard gave birth to the first products of UNO PI.  From 1975 to 1977 he collaborated with company Giovannetti from Pistoia, where he polished his experience cooperating and industrialising products of several architects and designer such as Adolfo Natalini, Cristiano Toraldo from France, Paolo Piva and others.
