ntoni de Moragas was born in Barcelona in 1941. He studied at the Faculty of Arts and the School of Architecture Barcelona. He received in 1985 a doctorate in architecture, with the score * "cum laude" * with the thesis of "Antoni Mª Gallissà". He worked in Barcelona's architecture studio with Ricardo Bofill and the Bohigas (Martorell / Mackay study) and in Milan in Vittorio Gregotti. Since 1972 he is professor of projects at the School of Architecture of Barcelona since 1977 and professor of interior design projects at the School of Design EINA. In 1987, he won the place of Projects professor in the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona. He is a member of the Court of Final Projects at this school. Furthermore he conducted doctoral courses. Since 1995 he directs the graduate course "Interior and Interiors', organized by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and is responsible for a doctoral underway. He was invited to the School of Architecture of Budapest, Belgrano, Buenos Aires he was also invited by the Association of Portuguese Architects in Lisboa'94 program and Menéndez Pelayo University. He currently teaches at the School of Architecture "La Sapienza" in Rome. Domenech i Muntaner won the Prize of the Institute of Catalan architecture in 1986. He received the FAD Architecture Prize in 1987, special mention in 1993 and he was a finalist in 1982, 1987, 1994, 2001.Il 1996 and won the prize Ciutat architecture of Barcelona in 1990. And in September 2005 was created the Limited Company "Antoni de Moragas Arquitectes", which he is the sole manager. Currently it has a technical team of seven architects, 3 students who studied in the field of architecture and interior design. Students and staff have a solid structure in the areas of equipment, facilities, safety, health, geotechnical engineering, urban planning, planning, landscaping and energy between mediambiental.
